Between June 2008 and June 2010, suitable applicants will be admitted to the Institute at the grade of Associate Member (AMIIAI) if they can;
- Declare at least two years involvement with the investigative process; and
- Possess recognised qualification and/or appropriate experience in their particular field. More
Note: Associate Members (AMIIAI) entering via this route will be expected to attain the IIAI Lead Accident Investigators' Certificate and upgrade to Full Member (MIIAI) within two years. A limited number of RDC subsidised places are made available annually that reduce the cost of Lead Certificate training for existing members.
